I’m Tom, founder of Beacon Security. I moved to Malvern in 2019 and quickly knew this was home. Since then, I’ve built a life here with my wife, daughter, and our loyal collie, Flynn, often found walking the Malvern Hills together. The name “Beacon” is inspired by the highest hill in the Malverns, as well as the word’s deeper meaning: a signal, a siren, and most importantly, hope. That’s what I want this business to stand for: reassurance and peace of mind. With a decade of industry experience, I’ve seen how security technology has evolved, from conventional wired setups to today’s smart, app-based systems.
